What you will be doing?In this role, the Security Specialist will independently perform a wide range of functions and tasks which require proficiency in educating and implementing policy as it relates to security matters. Will collaborate with other members of the IC regarding security concerns, support internal and external customers related to clearance processing, perform administrative tasks using various tools and databases to prepare correspondence, reports, and deliverables. Must be able to create and present Industrial and Physical Security Program informational briefing and training sessions.
Candidates should have a strong compassion to provide customer service, be administratively organized and demonstrate excellent customer service skills both in person, email, and over the phone calls.
What will you need for this job?
- Must possess a TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Willing to work in a high level customer service-oriented environment.
- Conduct Indoctrinations/Debriefs
- Facilitate visitor clearance passing/receiving
- Perform various physical and personnel security engagements
- Assist with policy and directive creation and updates
- Assist with security training and education
- Understanding in the use of DISS
- Ability to fingerprint using customer provided technology.
- Must work effectively independently and with others.
Qualifications
- Masters degree + 10 years' experience or Bachelors degree +12 years' experience
