Paladin Security is Hiring a Security Site Manager!

Schedule: Full-Time (Site operates 24/7)
Pay Rate: $25–$27/hour
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Paladin Security is seeking an experienced Security Site Manager to oversee and coordinate security operations at a large retail complex operating 24/7.

In this leadership role, you will manage a team of security professionals, implement site policies, and ensure high standards of safety, service, and compliance. You will work closely with and report directly to the Client Service Manager.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent multitasking skills, a solid understanding of health and safety protocols, and proven experience in emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the security team, ensuring high standards of service
• Address client concerns and recommend operational improvements
• Supervise all security staff and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Support, mentor, and coach officers to maintain consistent performance
• Conduct site orientations, training, and performance evaluations
• Lead shift briefings, debriefings, and incident reporting
• Act as the primary after-hours contact for site staff
• Conduct investigations and risk assessments
• Create and manage schedules to ensure full site coverage
• Handle last-minute absences and coordinate shift replacements
• Ensure all officers meet required certifications and training standards
• Oversee surveillance systems, access control, and communication tools
• Maintain situational awareness and escalate incidents as needed
• Conduct audits of reports, patrol logs, and system activity
• Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement plans
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and privacy standards
• Maintain and enforce clear and accessible SOPs

Requirements

• Valid Security License (BC Security Worker License – SWL)
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory security experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Eligible to work in Canada

Nice to Have:

• Class 5 Driver’s License
• OFA2 certification (or willingness to obtain; training available)
