
The Security Supervisor is responsible for daily operations of the Racing Security Department. The Security Supervisor coordinates the training of department personnel, scheduling, oversees all departmental staff and assumes command of the Racing Security Department in the absence of the Security Manager.
High School Diploma or GED is required; college – level training is preferred.
At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role.
Must have outstanding interpersonal communication, organizational, planning and documentation skills.
Must be able to handle customer inquiries on behalf of the Security Department.
Must have excellent computer skills, with knowledge of Microsoft software products such as Word, Excel and Project.
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, kneel, bend, lift, grip tools, and utilize a computer without limitation.
Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and written and capable of multi-tasking in a dynamic work environment.
Must hold a Valid Motor Vehicle License with good driving record.
Must be at least 21 yrs or older.
Must be capable of CPR/ AED/ First Aid certification and Indiana Horse Racing Commission licensure.
Also, must be able to read, write and speak English.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand/ walk for long periods of time.
Must be able to work in a noisy, smoked filled, with close quarters, and hot or cold in excessive weather conditions; depending on your work area.
