The Opportunity

We’re looking for a collaborative and commercially minded Security Services Manager to lead the delivery and continuous improvement of our security services practice. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong cybersecurity expertise with people leadership, customer engagement, and a passion for building secure, scalable environments.

Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer, you’ll play a key role in shaping security operations across both ASI and our customers. You’ll work closely with technical teams, leadership, customers, and vendors to ensure services are proactive, compliant, customer-focused, and continuously evolving.

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Leading and mentoring a high-performing Security Services team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and growth.
  • Driving the delivery and continuous improvement of managed security services and cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Overseeing security audits, risk assessments, incident response activities, and compliance programs.
  • Supporting customers and internal stakeholders with practical cybersecurity advice and strategic guidance.
  • Enhancing security operations aligned to frameworks including ACSC Essential Eight and ISO27001.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to embed security into projects, onboarding, operational processes, and service delivery.
  • Monitoring security KPIs, customer satisfaction metrics, and compliance outcomes to ensure service excellence.
  • Contributing to security awareness initiatives and promoting a strong security-first culture across the business.

To Be Successful in This Role, You’ll Bring

Essential

  • Strong experience working within cybersecurity, security operations, or IT security leadership environments.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, or developing technical teams.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as ACSC Essential Eight and ISO27001.
  • Experience managing security incidents, risk management activities, and operational security services.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Experience balancing multiple priorities while maintaining service quality and responsiveness.

Desirable

  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ISO27001 Lead Implementer.
  • Experience with process improvement, service optimisation, or security product development.
  • Exposure to managed services or customer-facing consulting environments.
  • Experience contributing to business growth, customer success, or service innovation initiatives.
