SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:
Education and experience directly related to the minimum requirements below may be interchangeable on a year for year basis.
High school diploma or GED supplemented by thirty (30) credit hours of college level course work in law enforcement or criminal justice; and
Four (4) years of security experience; and
To include one (1) year of lead or supervisory experience.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver's License, or the ability to obtain by date of hire.
Possession of a City Operator's Permit (COP) within six (6) months from date of hire.
Environmental:
Office environment; exposure to potentially hostile environments; exposure to computers; exposure to inclement weather.
Physical:
Essential and supplemental functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for heavy or moderate lifting; sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods; operating a motor vehicle.
