The Casino Security Sergeant plays a critical leadership role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests, employees, and assets. This position supervises Security Officers on assigned shifts, ensures compliance with casino policies and gaming regulations, and responds decisively to incidents requiring advanced judgment and authority.

QualificationsUnder general supervision of the Security Manager/Director, oversees their assigned shift and ensures the protection, safeguarding and security of the Casino's assets, personnel, customers and all visitors. Maintains the confidentiality of privileged information.
High School diploma or GED required. Previous experience in security, surveillance, law enforcement preferably in the gaming industry. Prior supervisory experience, preferably in the gaming industry. Must be 21 years of age.  Must possess a valid driver’s license. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license in Arizona and California. Tribal preference given to qualified tribal applicants.

Located at 350 Picacho Road in Winterhaven, California, the administration building sits atop Indian Hill overlooking Paradise Casino to the East and the construction of the new Fort Yuma Health Care Center to the North.

Here you will find the offices of the President, Vice-President, and the Tribal Council Members. The Tribal Chambers is also located within the building where meetings with the Tribal Council are held.

Also located within the administration building are the offices for the Tribal Administrator, Tribal Council Secretary, Comptroller, Human Resources, Payroll, Revenue Distribution, Finance, our Grants Writer/Coordinator and Records Retention.

The hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 pm. to 5:00 p.m. The offices are closed between 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. for lunch break.
