About the Role:
MSS Security is seeking dedicated and customer-focused Security Officers (Rover) to join our team at a music school site in Sydney CBD (approximately a 10-minute walk from the nearest city train station).
This is a full-time position working across a rotating roster, providing a visible security presence while delivering exceptional customer service to students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct foot patrols across campus (both indoor and outdoor areas)
Lock and unlock buildings and facilities as required
Assist and direct students, staff, and visitors across the campus
Respond to incidents and complete detailed incident reports
Communicate effectively and professionally with key stakeholders
Manage visitor sign-ins, inductions, and maintain key registers
Issue and manage key passes
About You:
We are looking for reliable and proactive individuals who take pride in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
To be successful, you will have:
Certificate II in Security Operations
Current First Aid Certificate
Valid NSW Security Licence
Strong communication skills and a professional, approachable manner
High level of reliability, integrity, and commitment to security
Physical fitness with the ability to stand and walk for extended periods
