Our KDN Bulgaria Cloud unit is focused on designing, building, securing and managing cloud native and hybrid platforms for the KPMG group of member firms, as well as providing cloud advisory and engineering services to external clients.

The Security Posture Management Engineer is responsible for deploying, administering, integrating and continuously improving the technologies and processes used to identify, assess, prioritise and reduce cybersecurity risks across complex enterprise environments.

Working as a hands-on technical engineer, you will support Security Posture Management capabilities across cloud, identity, SaaS, data, AI, APIs, infrastructure and vulnerability management. You will work with technologies including Wiz, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Defender Exposure Management, Microsoft Defender XDR, Qualys, ServiceNow and cloud-native security solutions.

Job Description

• Deploy, configure, administer and maintain enterprise Security Posture Management platforms across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Support and optimise security technologies including Wiz, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Defender Exposure Management, Microsoft Defender XDR and Qualys.
• Manage platform upgrades, policy configurations, capability enablement and the adoption of new security features.
• Troubleshoot complex platform issues and perform root cause analysis for service disruptions.
• Develop and maintain integrations between posture management platforms and enterprise systems, including ServiceNow, CMDB, SIEM platforms, cloud services and reporting tools.
• Build automation that improves risk identification, prioritisation, ticket creation, tracking and remediation workflows.
• Develop scripts, API integrations and orchestration processes that reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
• Monitor and analyse security posture findings across cloud, SaaS, identity, data, AI and infrastructure environments.
• Investigate vulnerabilities, insecure configurations, excessive permissions, exposed assets and security control gaps.
• Support the onboarding of applications, cloud services, SaaS platforms and identities into security monitoring and posture management solutions.
• Support proof-of-concept activities, testing and deployment of new security features and solutions.
• Produce operational metrics, dashboards and reporting related to security posture trends and remediation performance.
• Participate in security investigations where posture management technologies provide relevant intelligence or evidence.
• Maintain technical documentation, platform standards and operational procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 5–7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, in the areas of Cloud Security, Security Posture Management, Vulnerability and Threat Management
• Hands-on experience deploying, configuring, administering and supporting enterprise security platforms across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Experience with Security Posture Management technologies
• Practical experience administering and supporting Wiz, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Defender Exposure Management, Microsoft Defender XDR or Qualys.
• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft security ecosystem, including Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365 security technologies.
• Experience implementing and supporting cloud security solutions within Microsoft Azure, AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience investigating, prioritising, tracking and remediating security vulnerabilities, misconfigurations and exposure findings.
• Experience developing security automation and integrations using APIs, scripting and workflow orchestration tools.
• Experience integrating security solutions with ServiceNow, CMDB, SIEM, reporting and cloud platforms.
• Experience developing posture policies, security baselines, compliance assessments and risk-prioritisation models.
• Strong understanding of cloud, identity, SaaS, data, AI, application and infrastructure security controls.
• Experience working with security operations, engineering, DevOps, infrastructure or cloud engineering teams.
• Excellent communication skills in English
