Security Patrol Officer – HOA Communities
We are seeking experienced Security Patrol Officers to provide professional security services for HOA and residential communities throughout California.
Requirements:
Previous security patrol experience required.
Experience working in HOA, gated, or residential communities preferred.
Ability to enforce property rules and issue citations when necessary.
Comfortable approaching individuals and asking trespassers to leave private property in a professional and respectful manner.
Strong observation and situational awareness skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to make quick decisions and exercise sound judgment in dynamic situations.
Strong customer service skills while maintaining authority and professionalism.
Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently.
Technology Requirements:
Comfortable using security reporting and patrol applications on a smartphone.
Ability to take and upload photos through a security app.
Ability to write detailed incident reports and daily activity reports using a mobile device.
Experience using GPS navigation and location-based patrol technology.
Basic computer and mobile technology proficiency required.
Job Duties:
Conduct vehicle and foot patrols of HOA and residential communities.
Monitor common areas, amenities, pools, parks, and community facilities.
Enforce HOA rules and regulations.
Issue warnings and citations as directed by property management.
Respond to suspicious activity, disturbances, and resident concerns.
Document incidents with detailed reports and photographs.
Monitor gates, access points, and community property.
Maintain a visible security presence to deter criminal activity and policy violations.
Qualifications:
Valid California Guard Card.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Must be able to stand, walk, patrol, and work outdoors for extended periods.
We are looking for confident, professional officers who are comfortable using technology, can think critically under pressure, and take pride in protecting residential communities.
A Signal Patrol Guard will conduct patrols, (foot and vehicle) for courtyards, offices, pools, and other high value areas to ensure all required access points are properly secured and to ensure protection of property and residents with a high degree of attentiveness to details and safety. All duties listed below are minimum requirements – additional duties listed in the site’s Post Orders are requirements as well.
