
The Operations Manager – Rapid Response is responsible for managing security operations across multiple sites while maintaining the flexibility to respond to urgent coverage needs. This role combines traditional Operations Management with Rapid Response scheduling expectations, ensuring continuity during vacations, booked time off, and emergency staffing gaps.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee day-to-day security operations at multiple client sites in Vancouver.
• Lead onboarding, training, and development of security personnel.
• Act as primary coverage for booked-off shifts, vacations, and planned absences.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and performance evaluations; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and service reviews.
• Respond to urgent coverage requests on short notice, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Support emergency response and incident management when required.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement in safety and operational effectiveness.
Schedule Expectations
• Flexible availability for Rapid Response shifts and short-notice coverage.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Qualifications
• Minimum 3–5 years of security operations management experience.
• Valid BC Security License, First Aid/CPR certification, and driver’s license.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with security technologies (CCTV, access control, incident management software).
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or Business Administration.
• Experience with rapid response or rapid deployment operations.

• Must undergo and meet company standards for background and reference checks and behavioral selection survey.
• May require regular use of a vehicle and frequent travel in the performance of duties.
• Responding on an on-call basis to emergencies and incidents at all hours.
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable licensing and certification requirements.

Annual Salary: $70,000 – $75,000 CAD
