Due to our rapid expansion, we are looking to recruit an experienced SOC Analyst.

You will be on the front line of detecting, investigating, and responding to cyber threats while helping protect SolarEdge's systems, services, customers, and business operations.

This is not a traditional SOC Analyst position.

As part of SolarEdge's integrated operational model, the successful candidate will perform both Security Operations Center (SOC) and Network Operations Center (NOC) responsibilities during designated shifts. The role combines cybersecurity operations, infrastructure monitoring, incident response, and service availability management, providing a unique opportunity to gain broad operational and security experience within a global enterprise environment.

The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate both the investigative mindset required of a Security Operations Analyst and the operational awareness required of a Network Operations professional, ensuring effective coverage of both security and service-impacting events during assigned shifts.

This position offers exceptional exposure to cybersecurity, cloud services, infrastructure operations, incident management, major incident coordination, and enterprise resilience. Key Responsibilities:

Security Operations

  • Monitor, triage, and analyze security alerts and events using SIEM, EDR, XDR, and other cybersecurity tools.
  • Investigate security incidents end-to-end and lead response and containment efforts.
  • Perform threat hunting activities and proactively identify suspicious behavior.
  • Tune detection rules and use cases to improve detection quality and reduce false positives.
  • Conduct malware, phishing, and account compromise investigations.
  • Document incidents, produce investigation reports, and recommend remediation actions.
  • Contribute to the development of security playbooks, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, Engineering, and IT teams to strengthen SolarEdge's security posture.

Network & Operations Center Responsibilities

  • Monitor the availability, health, and performance of critical business applications, infrastructure, cloud platforms, networks, and services.
  • Respond to operational alerts generated by monitoring platforms.
  • Perform initial troubleshooting and service validation activities.
  • Assess service impact and operational severity.
  • Coordinate with technology teams during operational incidents and service outages.
  • Support major incident management activities and stakeholder communications.
  • Maintain operational awareness of critical business services during assigned shifts.

Incident Management & Coordination

  • Serve as an initial response point for both security and operational incidents.
  • Investigate, analyze, prioritize, and coordinate incident resolution activities.
  • Establish appropriate escalation paths based on business impact and technical severity.
  • Maintain accurate incident documentation, timelines, and communication records.
  • Participate in post-incident reviews and lessons-learned activities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Security Operations, Incident Response, Threat Detection, Threat Hunting, or Cybersecurity Monitoring. Experience supporting enterprise operations, infrastructure monitoring, service availability, or major incident management in a global environment is considered a strong advantage.Strong experience with SIEM platforms (QRadar, Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or similar).
  • Experience with EDR/XDR solutions and security monitoring technologies.
  • Solid understanding of networking, operating systems, cloud technologies, and common attack techniques (MITRE ATT&CK).
  • Experience with log analysis, malware triage, phishing investigations, and incident handling.
  • Understanding of incident management and major incident response processes.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain both operational and security awareness during assigned shifts.
  • Willingness to participate in shift rotations and on-call coverage as required.

An Advantage:

  • Security certifications such as GCIH, GCIA, CySA+, Security+, CEH, SC-200, or equivalent.
  • Experience with enterprise monitoring platforms such as PRTG, Grafana, Prometheus, SolarWinds, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or similar tools.
  • Cloud security experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Experience with SOAR platforms and security automation.
  • Scripting and automation skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
  • Experience managing major incidents in enterprise environments.
  • Experience working in operational monitoring, service reliability, NOC, or infrastructure operations environments.
