As a Security Officer X Ray Screening Agent in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will use X-ray screening equipment to inspect shipments and support security-related procedures. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate professionally with team members and visitors, and help identify potential concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers while carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control requirements at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, packages, parcels, and belongings in accordance with established procedures; document and report prohibited or suspicious items and activity.
• Monitor entry points, screening equipment, and restricted areas; verify identification and maintain accurate visitor and screening records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
