As a Security Officer Welcome Desk Security in Palmetto, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor front desk activity, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, monitoring visitor activity, and supporting security-related protocols for a logistics and distribution location.
• Greet employees, visitors, and drivers, verify identification and/or credentials, and maintain access logs and visitor records in accordance with site requirements.
• Answer phones, assist with directions and general questions, and communicate with site contacts regarding arrivals, deliveries, and other front desk activity.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through appropriate communication channels.
• Monitor entry points, cameras, and alarm notifications from the front desk to help support security-related awareness and timely response.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
