Schedule:

• Warehouse Division: Monday - Wednesday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Vehicle Patrol Division: Saturday - Sunday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Job Summary

Hammer Head Security is seeking a reliable and professional Warehouse / Vehicle Patrol Officer to provide security services at an assigned client facility. This position combines warehouse security, access control, property inspections, and vehicle patrol responsibilities.

The ideal candidate is dependable, observant, professional, and comfortable working independently. The officer will help maintain a safe and secure environment by monitoring facility operations, conducting inspections, controlling access, documenting activity, and promptly reporting security or safety concerns.

Essential Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle patrols of designated parking areas, drive lanes, perimeter roads, and exterior areas when assigned to vehicle patrol duties.
• Maintain a visible security presence throughout the property.
• Conduct routine inspections of gates, fences, parking areas, loading docks, exterior doors, and other designated areas.
• Perform required QR checkpoint scans and patrol verification rounds in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor facility access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, vendors, contractors, and deliveries.
• Follow established access control procedures and site-specific post orders.
• Open, close, and secure designated vehicle gates according to established schedules.
• Monitor loading dock and delivery areas during active operations.
• Observe inbound and outbound deliveries and assist with maintaining secure loading and unloading operations.
• Inspect warehouse access points and report unsecured doors, propped doors, or other security concerns.
• Monitor the property for suspicious activity, unauthorized access, safety hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Report issues such as spills, leaks, blocked exits, damaged equipment, lighting concerns, or other unsafe conditions.
• Monitor designated warehouse areas and report unusual activity or operational concerns.
• Check designated areas for unsecured equipment, systems, or other conditions requiring management attention.
• Secure authorized packages or deliveries in designated areas and notify appropriate personnel.
• Communicate with Dispatch, site management, and other assigned security personnel regarding incidents and operational updates.
• Use radios, mobile devices, company applications, GPS systems, and electronic reporting tools as required.
• Complete Daily Activity Reports, incident reports, access logs, patrol documentation, and other required records accurately and promptly.
• Follow all company policies, client procedures, and site-specific post orders.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with employees, visitors, vendors, and client representatives.
• Perform other security-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid BSIS Guard Card required.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required for vehicle patrol assignments.
• Previous security, patrol, warehouse security, or access control experience preferred.
• Strong observation and communication skills.
• Ability to complete clear and accurate written reports.
• Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.
• Comfortable using smartphones, mobile applications, radios, GPS systems, and electronic reporting platforms.
• Ability to stand, walk, and conduct property inspections for extended periods as required.
• Ability to remain attentive and professional throughout the assigned shift.
• Ability to work in both warehouse and outdoor environments.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable attendance.
