💰 Pay Rate: £14.57 per hour
⏳ Weekly Hours: 42 hours per week (with overtime opportunities)
🕒 Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off shift pattern Days, Nights, and Weekends

We are looking for a Security Officer to join our dedicated team in Towcester within the Defence Sector This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with strong security experience who are committed to maintaining safety and confidentiality in a high-security environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

• 🚶 Security Patrols: Carry out regular foot and vehicle patrols across the site to detect any threats and ensure security measures are being followed.

• 🔒 Access Control: Control and monitor access to secure areas by verifying credentials and enforcing access protocols.

• 🖥️ CCTV Monitoring: Stay alert and monitor CCTV systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure all operations are conducted safely.

• 🚨 Incident Response: Respond swiftly and appropriately to any security breaches, alarms, or emergencies, ensuring that security protocols are followed.

• 📝 Reporting & Documentation: Keep clear and accurate records of any incidents, breaches, or security-related activities for compliance and safety.

• 🧑‍💻 Health & Safety: Follow strict health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all staff and visitors.

• 🛠️ Equipment Checks: Ensure all security equipment, including alarms and surveillance systems, is in working order.

Additional Information

What We Are Looking For:

• 🔑 Valid SIA Licence (essential)

• 🇬🇧 Born British citizen or held a British passport for at least 5 years

• 📜 5-year checkable work history

• 🔒 Ability to obtain SC clearance (essential for the role)

• 💬 Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• 🕔 Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to various shift patterns, including nights and weekends

• 🏃 Physically fit – you’ll be on your feet and patrolling regularly
