As a Security Officer Secure Entry Operations in Plant City, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. You will help maintain an orderly environment, report security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, and documenting visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Maintain accurate logs and incident reports, support access-control technology, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
