As a Security Officer Reception Driver in Newton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, helping to monitor access, verify visitors, and support security-related procedures with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at the front desk by greeting visitors, employees, and contractors, verifying credentials, managing access procedures, and supporting site-specific security-related policies for a manufacturing location.
• Monitor lobby and entry activity, answer phones, direct arrivals, and document visitor and delivery information in accordance with site protocols and Allied Universal procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Support front desk operations by maintaining accurate logs, preparing reports on unusual activity or incidents, and helping to deter unauthorized access through attentive observation and professional presence.
• Assist with emergency response activities by providing guidance at the entry point, relaying information to appropriate personnel, and following post orders for evacuations, shelter-in-place events, and/or other site needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
