Job Description

We are hiring for Security Officer position at Providence Valdez Medical Center in Valdez, AK!

Position is full-time, 1.0 FTE, 8-hr Variable shifts, 40 hours per week.

Under supervision performs all technical duties relative to maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Required Qualifications:
  • Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
  • Experience with various computer programs, databases and Microsoft Office Programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3 years of experience in security or military.
  • 1 year of experience in healthcare security.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
