As a Security Officer Patrol Rover in Westlake, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within an industrial chemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, buildings, gates, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site protocols and security-related requirements.
• Support plant operations by communicating clearly with coworkers, control room personnel, and/or emergency contacts while following post orders and escalation procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA issued TWIC.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
