As a Security Officer Patrol Duty in Wilmington, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and verify entry authorization for employees, contractors, and/or visitors in accordance with site protocols and posted instructions.
• Complete routine reports and document incidents, patrol activity, and/or noteworthy observations with accuracy and attention to location requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be 21 or more years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
