What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and guests by following site-specific procedures, monitoring assigned areas, and supporting security-related operations throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details to site leadership and/or public agency contacts as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site protocols, escalating unusual behavior and/or suspicious circumstances through proper channels.
• Support emergency response activities by communicating clearly with occupants, directing foot traffic when needed, and assisting with security-related procedures during events, public gatherings, and/or facility operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
