As a Security Officer Patrol in Imlay City, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, location policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a food and beverage production and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, loading and shipping zones, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor entry requirements, and support screening and logging processes in accordance with site protocols and Allied Universal standards.
• Observe workplace conditions and report maintenance, access control, and/or security-related issues that could impact daily operations or the location's established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
