Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Part-time/Weekend Safety Support Professional, also known as a Security Officer, to join our Safety and Security Team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring a safe, secure, and therapeutic environment for our clients and staff across multiple facilities. As a key team member, you will provide first-line response to escalated situations, proactively identify security concerns, and support the well-being of clients enrolled in outpatient services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety and security, particularly within healthcare or mental health settings, and be adept at handling high-pressure situations. A commitment to trauma-informed care, the ability to assess and respond to diverse scenarios, and strong rapport-building skills are essential for success in this role.
Schedule: This part-time position averages 24–26 hours per week and is fully onsite/in-person. The schedule includes Saturday and Sunday, 7:45 AM–4:15 PM, plus Monday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
Salary for this role. The starting wage is based on experience and company equity. Paid bi-weekly.

AMHR has prioritized the health and safety of our clients and staff and requires all employees to receive an annual influenza (flu) shot and receive a negative TB test result prior to their first day of hire. Proof of both flu vaccination and a negative TB test will be required upon your first day of employment. A medical or religious exemption may be requested for the annual flu shot.
