As a Security Officer - Overnights Full Time in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with tenants and visitors, support access awareness, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and grounded in integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and exterior perimeters, helping to identify unusual activity and/or maintenance-related issues.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with property procedures, assisting authorized occupants and visitors with directions and general support.
• Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by observing and reporting conditions, helping to deter unauthorized activity, and communicating clearly with tenants, visitors, and property management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
