About the role

MSS Security is recruiting for Security Officers to work at our site in Mulwala.

As a Gatehouse Security Officer, your primary responsibility will be controlling access to the site by monitoring and recording all vehicle and personnel movements. You will be required to check identification, issue visitor passes, manage deliveries, and maintain accurate entry and exit logs. Ensuring only authorised individuals gain access, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the security and integrity of the premises.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Maintain constant vigilance to protect assets and ensure site security.
• Respond to emergencies promptly and report incidents in accordance with company protocols.
• Monitor CCTV systems and communicate effectively via two-way radios to coordinate security operations.
• Deliver outstanding customer service while acting as the first point of contact for visitors and staff.
• Control access to the site by verifying credentials and managing entry points.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols to deter unauthorised activity and ensure safety across the premises

What we are looking for:

• Must be an Australian Citizen

• Current NSW Security - Control Room License advantageous

• Certificate II (or higher) in Security Operations

• Drivers’ licence

• Current First Aid and CPR

• Either hold or willing to obtain AGSVA NV1 Defence clearance
