As a Security Officer Identity Document Reviewer in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Screener at a government health and family services location, you will help manage access points, screen visitors, and support a welcoming, orderly environment. You will use technology to document activity, communicate professionally with staff and visitors, and help identify and report security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, clients, and staff at a government health and family services location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Screen individuals entering the facility in accordance with established access-control procedures, including directing visitors and/or verifying authorization as required.
• Monitor entry points, visitor flow, and prohibited-item screening equipment, reporting concerns or irregular activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and follow emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, documenting observations and reporting maintenance, access-control, or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
