As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Rounds in Swiftwater, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a healthcare location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, manage access control and badge activities, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This role offers the opportunity to use your security-related experience while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, innovative team that acts with integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.73 / Hour

1. Security Experience:

• Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of relevant security experience (C115). This experience should demonstrate the ability to manage security protocols, respond to incidents, and maintain a safe environment.

1. Access Control/Badge Experience:

• Applicants are required to have experience with access control systems and badge management (B201). This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access credentials for personnel and visitors.

1. Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet:

• Candidates must be proficient in using computers or tablets (B204). This includes the ability to navigate software applications, manage electronic communications, and utilize digital tools effectively.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare and pharmaceutical location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business operations spaces, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, verifying credentials and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
• Document observations, incidents, patrols, and policy violations in clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
