As a Security Officer Full Time Tablet Based Patrol in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, contractors, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused construction location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of construction areas, building perimeters, access points, parking areas, and other assigned locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor and report unusual activity, hazardous conditions, unauthorized access attempts, and security-related concerns in accordance with site policies.
• Assist with visitor and contractor access processes, verify credentials as required, maintain accurate activity logs, and provide clear directions to authorized personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Possession of a state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
