As a Security Officer Full Time Act 235 Field Patrol in Malvern, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will communicate professionally, respond to concerns, and document observations while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

Pay Rate: $35.00 / Hour
- Age Requirement:

- Act 235 Qualification (Pennsylvania Only):
- Candidates applying for positions in Pennsylvania must possess a valid Act 235 qualification. This certification is necessary for individuals who will be carrying a firearm as part of their job responsibilities.
- Experience Requirement:
- Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in law enforcement, military police, or corrections. This experience is essential to ensure that candidates are adequately prepared for the challenges of the role.
- Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)
- Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges for employees and visitors.
- Armed Guard Card/License (B203)
- Candidates applying for security-related positions must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by state regulations. Proof of certification must be provided during the application process.
- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)
- Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets. This includes the ability to navigate software applications, manage emails, and utilize digital communication tools effectively.
- Customer Service Experience (B219)
- Candidates should have a background in customer service, showcasing their ability to interact positively with clients and resolve issues efficiently. Relevant experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, maintaining accurate logs and reporting unusual conditions.
- Complete required reports and shift documentation in a timely, professional manner.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
- Act 235 qualification is required for positions in Pennsylvania only.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
