As a Security Officer Screening Monitor in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access points, screen visitors and personnel, and support security-related operations through strong customer service and communication. In this visible role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain present to help discourage incidents, and contribute to a caring, agile team that values reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, vendors, and/or packages entering or leaving the location in accordance with site procedures and screening protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations and activities according to Allied Universal and location guidelines.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted or operational areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual conditions and/or potential concerns within loading, shipping, and warehouse areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
