As a Security Officer Secure Entry Monitor in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, identification checks, and entry authorization protocols at the location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help support authorized access, document visitor activity, and report unusual or suspicious activity according to site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, lobby areas, access points, and perimeter, with attention to security-related concerns and facility rules.
• Complete required logs, reports, and communication records related to access control activity, incidents, and daily operations, while following Allied Universal standards and site expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
