
Purpose of the Role
To assist with the smooth running of the building and to support with all emergency situations when they occur. This includes providing visible security cover to the building, handling tenant staff enquiries and visitor concerns, monitoring CCTV (by suitably trained and licensed staff) and controlling contractors, access and deliveries to the building. Out of hours reception cover and same for leave.
Key Responsibilities
· To work the hours and shifts in accordance with conditions of employment.
· To undertake regular patrols of the building as instructed by the Facilities Manager.
· To carry out duties in accordance with instructions issued by Facilities Manager.
· To comply fully with the Health & Safety Policy for the building.
· To ensure that the requirements of the Fire regulations are strictly complied with.
· To ensure that the Rules & Regulations of the building are complied with at all times.
· Ensure that all incidents are recorded in Incident Log.
· Ensure that contractors arriving on site adhere fully, to the building procedures for contractor management.
· Ensure that the building is a safe and pleasant environment.
· To assist with enquiries from the public if so required.
· To be aware of and abide by all rules, terms and conditions of the company.
· To be fully aware of the SMR Assignment Instructions and any other site related procedures as required by the role and to operate in line with their provisions.
The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organization and as directed by the Senior Facilities Manager.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
In order to comply with the Security Industry Act 2001, officers must hold a valid SIA Security License and where necessary a Public Space Surveillance License
Working Hours - 0700-1900hrs on a 4 ON/4 OFF shift pattern
Salary - £13.66 per hour
