As a Security Officer Control Center in Sioux Falls, SD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch professional in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, and support timely responses to security-related incidents. In this role, you will help maintain awareness across the site, provide outstanding customer service, and work with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, answering calls, and routing communications to the appropriate personnel.
• Monitor radios, phones, alarms, and/or camera systems from the dispatch post, documenting activity and relaying information to on-site personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and/or critical situations by coordinating communications with officers, local contacts, and emergency responders when appropriate.
• Maintain detailed logs, incident reports, and dispatch records, noting routine activity, unusual conditions, and follow-up information for site leadership.
• Support regular and random patrol activity by dispatching personnel to priority areas around the location and perimeter based on reported conditions and operational needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
