About the role

MSS Security is looking for casual Retail Security Officers to join our team at Stockland Birtinya shopping centre. In this role, you will help ensure a safe and secure environment for customers, staff, and property.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Conduct routine patrols and on-site inspections to uphold safety standards.
• Deliver a strong, visible deterrent against theft and antisocial behaviour.
• Respond rapidly and professionally to security incidents and escalate when needed.
• Collaborate confidently with team members and site personnel.
• Maintain accurate reports, logs, and complete basic digital documentation.
  

Requirements

• Full Australian Working Rights
• Current QLD Security Licence (Unarmed, Monitoring, Crowd Control)
• Certificate II in security operations (Or higher)
• Driver’s Licence
• Valid First Aid and CPR (Or Willing to obtain)
• Experience in retail or customer-facing roles (Highly Desirable)
