As an Armed Security Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and contractors at a food and beverage distribution or production location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and delivery appointments, and maintain visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, parking areas, loading docks, warehouses, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
• Observe and report conditions related to access control, trailer and vehicle movement, product storage areas, and facility operations, completing required activity and incident documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Have at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess a valid commercial driver’s license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
