We’re Hiring: Security Officer!

📍 Location: Witney, OX29 0YL

💰 Pay: £13.45 per hour

📅 Hours: 60 Hours per week: Working Monday - Friday 6am - 6pm

As a Security Officer, you'll do more than protect people and property, you'll help create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for everyone on site. Through your professionalism, vigilance, and customer-focused approach, you'll provide reassurance to employees, visitors, and contractors every day.

Whether you're carrying out patrols, managing gatehouse operations, controlling site access, or responding to incidents, as a Security Officer, you'll be a key part of the site's daily success. You'll play an important role in maintaining the highest standards of security and safety.

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Welcoming and assisting staff, visitors, and contractors.
• Conducting regular safety and security patrols.
• Ensuring compliance with regulations and procedures.
• Supporting emergency protocols, including evacuations and searches.
• Keeping vigilant, reporting incidents, and preventing disruption.
• Accurately maintaining records of all activity and handovers.
• Providing a professional, customer service-led security presence, delivering exceptional support and assistance to staff, visitors, and contractors while maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

• A valid SIA licence
• Be punctual and reliable
• Great customer service skills
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history
• Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken
