Job Impact

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Security Concierge Officer to support a corporate client in Adelaide. This is a high-profile front-of-house role where exceptional customer service, professionalism, and attention to detail are essential.

As the first point of contact for employees, clients, visitors, and contractors, you will play a key role in creating a safe, secure, and welcoming workplace environment while maintaining the highest standards of service and security.

About the Role

As a Security Concierge Officer, you will combine front-of-house concierge services with security responsibilities, ensuring a seamless experience for visitors while supporting the day-to-day safety and operation of the site.

Location: Adelaide, SA

Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent

Roster: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (76 Hours Per Fortnight)

Pay Rate: SSIA Level 4

Key Responsibilities

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing a professional and welcoming experience for visitors, staff, and contractors.
  • Managing visitor registrations, access cards, and contractor permits.
  • Handling reception enquiries and coordinating with facilities management.
  • Maintaining visitor and contractor records in line with site procedures.
  • Supporting meeting room bookings, access requests, and general administration.
  • Conducting patrols and responding to incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
  • Ensuring compliance with site security procedures and access requirements.
  • Preparing incident reports, daily activity logs, and handover notes.
  • Identifying and reporting hazards, maintenance issues, and security concerns.

About You

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a concierge, reception, customer service, or security role.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Professional presentation and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and report-writing skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • Good computer literacy and experience using security systems.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Current and valid South Australian Security Licence.
  • Certificate II in Security Operations.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Experience using access control, CCTV, and reporting systems.
  • Full working rights in Australia.

Highly Desirable

  • Experience in a corporate concierge or front-of-house security role.
  • Experience computer reporting systems.
  • Background in hospitality, customer service, or corporate facilities.
  • Knowledge of emergency response and evacuation procedures.
