
The Security Officer will be under the supervision of the Facility Services Director and/or his or her designee, responsible for maintaining a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors including monitoring persons who enter the clinic and controlling access to sensitive areas. Assists management in enforcing safety regulations -- aware of building exits and evacuation routes. Responsible for maintaining a sign-in roster at front desk for all visitors. Responsible for conducting building and grounds surveillance on a regular basis to detect and report any safety violations. Responsible for monitoring and documenting patient loitering within a four-block radius. Responsible for conducting periodic and random fire drills. Maintains clear communication with management. Must be willing and able to work various work shifts including Saturdays as scheduled and travel to various OTC locations as needed.
