Our Security team plays a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, staff, and hospital property. Team members take a proactive approach to preventing theft, vandalism, and other potential risks while remaining prepared to respond quickly and effectively to high-risk or emergency situations. Working in a dynamic healthcare setting, the team frequently interacts with individuals in stressful or unpredictable circumstances, making strong communication, teamwork, and sound judgment essential. Security Officers collaborate closely with one another and with hospital staff to manage incidents with professionalism and care. The role may also involve physical intervention when necessary, requiring strength, stamina, flexibility, and the ability to think critically under pressure.

What we’re looking for
Much walking is required during normal duty shift. Position requires mobility, bending, occasional lifting (5-50lbs), stooping, standing and sitting. Seeing, hearing, speaking and writing clearly in order to communicate with employees and clients, as well as to ability to observe and report incidents. Potential for exposure to inclement weather, unpleasant odors or sights. Must be physically fit and alert. Eye-hand coordination and finger dexterity is required. Moderate to high stress level
