As a Security Officer Access Driver in Sulphur, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, remaining aware of location-specific conditions and reporting security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs of visitors, deliveries, and contractor activity, and support security-related screening processes in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security-related supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security-related experience.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
