About the Role

Four Seasons Hotel Nashville is seeking a Security Officer to join our Security team. This role is responsible for protecting the safety and security of guests, residents, employees, and hotel assets by providing a safe environment, responding to emergencies, and maintaining the highest standards of service and professionalism.

What You Will Do

  • Patrol hotel premises and grounds to identify and address safety, security, and fire hazards.
  • Respond to emergency situations, security incidents, medical calls, and guest assistance requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras, alarm systems, emergency phones, and access control systems.
  • Enforce hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards to protect guests, employees, and property.
  • Assist with incident investigations, prepare detailed reports, and maintain accurate security records and logs.
  • Support emergency preparedness initiatives, including fire prevention, evacuation procedures, and participation in emergency response activities.
  • Provide key control services and assist with guestroom lock and safe-related issues.
  • Promote loss prevention and safety awareness throughout the hotel through observation, communication, and training support.
  • Serve as a liaison with local law enforcement, emergency responders, and other external agencies when necessary.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service while maintaining a professional, approachable, and responsive presence throughout the property.

What You Bring

  • Minimum one year of security experience, preferably within a luxury hotel, hospitality, or customer service environment.
  • Strong communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to complete detailed incident reports and effectively respond to emergency situations.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, holidays, evenings, and overnights.
  • Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing, walking, and responding quickly to emergencies.
