As a Security Officer Access Driver in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, support site access procedures, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted and industrial areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, operational areas, and the perimeter, remaining aware that working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Support access control operations by maintaining accurate visitor logs, issuing temporary credentials when authorized, and reporting unusual activity, policy violations, and/or equipment concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
