Security Officer
Part-Time 7:30a - 8p
We are seeking a Security Officer to join our team at Baptist Health Hardin. In this role, you will be responsible for contributing to maintain a safe secure environment within the healthcare facility. You will conduct regular patrols, monitor surveillance, respond to emergencies, and facilitate conflict resolution
Reports out-of-the ordinary activity in and around the hospital/grounds
Respond to security and safety related emergencies
Conducts investigations and completes reports
Provides security escorts as needed
Excellent customer service toward patients, families, and employees
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Valid KY driver's license with satisfactory driving record defined by Baptist Health Hardin policy is required.
Good organizational, oral and written communication skills.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to work well with others and present a professional appearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field.
International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS) certification preferred.
