Job Impact

We are looking for professional and customer-focused Security Officers to deliver high-quality physical security services across our corporate environment. In this role, you will help protect people, assets, and infrastructure through strong access control, patrols, surveillance, alarm monitoring, and incident response, while working in line with standard operating procedures, client requirements, and relevant legislation.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is observant, calm under pressure, confident using systems, and committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Roster: 24/7 7 days

Key Responsibilities

As a Security Officer, you will support the day-to-day security operations of the site by:

• monitoring and operating CCTV, alarms, fire and security systems to identify and respond to incidents quickly and effectively;
• conducting internal and external patrols, lock-up procedures, security checks, and alarm responses;
• controlling site access, issuing passes, managing keys and access devices, and maintaining accurate access records;
• escorting visitors, contractors, and authorised personnel as required, while supporting site access requirements and goods control processes;
• responding to suspicious activity, security breaches, alarms, and emergencies in line with procedures;
• completing logs, reports, and documentation accurately and on time;
• providing a high standard of customer service to stakeholders, while liaising with emergency services when required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and service, along with the ability to follow procedures and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Essential requirements

• Security Licence – Class 1A (Unarmed Guarding);
• valid First Aid Certificate and current CPR Certificate;
• ability to successfully complete an Australian Police Check;
• strong communication and customer service skills;
• conflict resolution and negotiation capability;
• sound report writing skills and experience undertaking patrol duties;
• strong observational skills and the ability to multitask; and
• intermediate PC skills, including Microsoft Office, and confidence communicating via two-way radio.
