Job Description

We are seeking professional and dependable Security Officers to join our team in a fast-paced logistics and distribution environment. This is a hands-on position that requires individuals who are attentive, responsible, and able to work well as part of a team.

Security Officers will be responsible for monitoring gate operations, verifying information, assisting with trailer traffic, completing reports, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff, drivers, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inbound and outbound traffic entering and exiting the facility.
• Verify driver and shipment information accurately.
• Conduct routine inspections and report discrepancies or suspicious activity.
• Maintain professional communication with drivers, vendors, and facility personnel.
• Complete reports and documentation accurately.
• Assist with maintaining safe and organized traffic flow throughout the property.
• Work closely with warehouse and transportation teams to support daily operations.

• Basic math and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Must be eligible to obtain a Maryland State Guard Card.
• Must be at least 21+ years old

Preferred Experience

• Previous security, logistics, warehouse, or gatehouse experience is a plus.
• Experience working in fast-paced environments preferred.

Work Environment

This position may require both indoor and outdoor work in a busy distribution and transportation setting. Candidates should be comfortable standing, walking, and interacting with drivers, staff, and vendors throughout their shift.
