MSS Security is currently seeking professional and reliable Security Officer to join our team at a busy shopping centre located in Shellharbour This is a full-time opportunity offering stable ongoing employment within a dynamic retail environment.
As a Shopping Centre Security Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for retailers, staff, contractors, and members of the public. Successful candidates must be available to work across a 24/7 rotating roster, including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
This role offers an attractive pay rate of $27.91 per hour + superannuation + applicable shift loadings.
Conduct regular foot patrols throughout the shopping centre
Monitor CCTV systems and security alarms
Respond to incidents, emergencies, and security risks in a professional manner
Provide high level customer service and assistance to retailers and patrons
Manage access control and contractor sign-ins where required
Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records
Assist in crowd control and conflict resolution situations
Current NSW Security Licence
Certificate II in Security Operations
Current First Aid Certificate
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible availability across a 24/7 rotating roster
Previous retail or shopping centre security experience is highly regarded
Full-time permanent employment
