Responsibilities

The Security Officer I Conducts activities to provide a safe and secure environment for Hospital patients, visitors, and employees. Required to interface with visitors, staff, physicians, patients and family members.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months Hospital experience or Security/Safety, Fire, Police, Military Police, Ambulance/EMT, or similar occupation. One (1) year of college may be substituted.
• Must demonstrate complete knowledge and application of Security, Safety, or Law Enforcement techniques and procedures.
• Must possess excellent public relation/customer service skills, and good written and oral communication skills.
• Must either possess Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) Certification or successfully complete the MOAB Certification course within three months of employment.
• Must successfully complete BLS-Healthcare Provider Certification course, offered by the organization, upon hire.
• Current/Valid Driver’s License (new GA residents must obtain valid GA Driver’s License within 90 days of hire)

7:00pm - 7:00am
