We’re looking for Security Officers to join our growing team! You’re passionate about patient, visitor and staff safety, have a close eye for detail and love to collaborate with a dynamic team. Whether you’re looking to stay with our team long term, or use this role as a stepping stone for a future law enforcement career, you will gain valuable hands-on experience that will meet your long and short term goals.
Education• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred Experience• 1 year of law enforcement, security, military or other relevant experience required• Advanced military, law enforcement or security training preferred Licenses and Certifications• DL - Valid California Driver's License and driving record acceptable to Community Health System required• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required• GUARD - State of California Guard Card required CHS HealthStream Course• CPS - OC (Pepper) Spray Endorsement required within 30 days of hire or transfer into position
