We’re Hiring: Security Officer!

📍 Location: Harrogate, UK
💰 Pay: £12.97 per hour
📅 Hours: 42 Hours - Days nights and weekends. (We are always open to discussing shift patterns, however this is a standard for our Officers)

As a Security Officer at Securitas, you’ll do more than protect what’s important—you’ll empower people to thrive. Your presence will make others feel safe, welcome, and supported.

Whether you’re patrolling key areas, managing gatehouse duties, or being the friendly face clients rely on, as a Security Officer you’ll be an essential part of something bigger, every shift is a new chance to learn, grow, and make a difference.

What you'll be doing:

• Controlling access and egress
• Responding to incidents, including first aid situations
• Patrolling the building
• Gatehouse Duties
• Signing visitors and contractors
• Monitor in house CCTV
• Carry out regular audits on the site security systems
• Reception

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

• SIA licence
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history.
• Driving Licence desirable or good access with public transport.
• 2+ years security experience
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Flexible and adaptable
• IT literate
• Physically fit for patrolling duties
• Excellent customer service skills
• Smart and presentable
