About the role
MSS Security is seeking professional Full Time Security Officers to join our team, working across two US Consulate sites located in St Kilda and Toorak.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Monitor and control access to restricted areas, including verifying IDs and issuing passes.
Operate and monitor security systems such as CCTV, alarms, X-ray machines and metal detectors.
Conduct screening of personnel, visitors and deliveries, including ID checks, bag inspections and screening for prohibited items.
Perform regular patrols (internal, external and residence) to ensure doors, gates and perimeters are secure.
Respond to security incidents or alerts, including initiating lockdowns, denying access, or calling for backup as per protocol.
Log and report all relevant activities, incidents and irregularities in official records, logs or reports.
Ideal candidates will have:
Must be an Australian Citizen
Valid Victorian Security Licence.
Valid Victorian Drivers Licence.
Certificate II in security operations (or higher).
Possess a Handcuff and Baton Certificate (or willing to obtain).
Valid First Aid & CPR Certificates (or willing to obtain).
Willing to undergo a National Police Check.
24/7 Availability.
